Since moving to the UK in 2007, I’ve been to many places and seen many things. I consider myself very fortunate. Travel allows you to leave the jaded adult behind and view the world through a child’s eyes – full of wonder, curiosity and awe at the most simple things. With that in mind, there are still some places I definitely need to visit.

1) Istanbul

2) Transylvania

3) Bamberg (‘Beer City’!!)

4) Brussels (home of Magritte)

5) Costa Rica

6) Dubrovnik

7) St. Petersburg

8) Thailand

9) Return to Paris to see the Henri Cartier-Bresson Museum

… more to follow

What’s on your list?

  1. Awesome post! I would also love to go to Transylvania. However, near the top of my list is doing a road trip through Norway (I have to wait for next June/July though since that’s when there’s the most daylight).

  2. Your list may be long, but it seems so short at the same time. Mine grows longer and longer and longer with each month. Right now, Jordan and Uganda are very high up and I’ve already booked trips to those places.
Istanbul must be amazing. Too bad the political situation isn’t the most stable at the moment.
I would love to do Transylvania, too.

  3. Top 3 would be:
    1) Mexico’s pyramids and Cuba b4 it becomes another Caribbean island
    2) See the Aurora lights before it dims for decade?
    3) Walk the ruins of Petra
So many more in our bucket list. The bucket is full and cannot be filled much more!
