When I was young, my Grandmother had these lyrics in a nice frame on the wall. Many years later, my Mother – having fond memories of it – bought the same at an antique sale for our home in Goderich. It always stuck with me. I was glad to see the same lyrics posted in a Rochester green grocer, bringing back fond memories yet again, but was disappointed when it suddenly disappeared and they could not explain to me where it went. Anyway, I think now might be a good time to share them with you – a little positivity amongst the fear and uncertainty …

There’ll always be an England
And England shall be free
If England means as much to you
As England means to me.
