Very pleased to announce that Schisma is the First Place Winner – The Dark Fest Awards 2025!
“The Dark Fest – A cinematic home for strange, unsettling, noir-soaked, and fear-driven stories.”
Also proud that I have created a protagonist that is both autistic (though not made implicit in the script) and gender non-conforming, yet connects with a variety of audiences.
For more information:
Schisma is a psychological sci-fi horror feature. It has moved beyond “promising script” territory. It has a demonstrable record of connecting with readers.

I now have a First Place win and a substantial collection of finalists and selections. Maybe I’m not a writer who “can’t break through.” Guess I’m a writer whose work resonates strongly with some readers and not with others. Honestly, that’s true of many cult science-fiction and horror films. If Schisma had universal appeal, it probably wouldn’t be Schisma.
