Verdict: Impressive visuals and a positive message rest uneasily next to silly dialogue, absurd situations, predictable plot machinations and tedious clichés. “2001” this is not. Christopher Nolan may soon be competing with the Wachowskis as the most overrated creator of bloated epics with big messages and brief moments of brilliance.
