This isn’t news. I purchased one of these versatile devices, called a “drill”, years ago and I have been using it to stir soups and coffee and peel potatoes, swedes, apples – even oranges. A friend of mine saw me using it in the kitchen and muttered something about using it to make holes in wood (I could barely hear him, because of the noise), but there is a limit – that’s just getting ridiculous. I will say this though – don’t use it to rotate doner kebab meat; your wrist will get tired, you’ll find slicing the meat a challenge and customers will get nervous when you inadvertently point the spinning meat their way.
