In a sudden burst of inspiration and creativity, TFL staff banded together in an effort at making trains run smoother and faster. Square blocks of steel were not fit for purpose, so they chipped and chiselled away for months until them came up with something circular that rolled along on the tracks nicely. They hope to make many more of these and envision a day when all train cars will use them.
Looking for a new career? Hungry for challenging, stimulating work that will help and inspire your community? Answer the TFL polls to our satisfaction and you too may be stuffed into a high vis vest and shuffled off to pull London back from the brink of madness.
Love the site. Am fond of the absurd and enjoying your observations.
